Our goal here is to utilize our 15+ years of party rental experience providing our customers with useful tips in planning the best special event ever!

WINTER: WEATHER OR NOT (JAN 2012)

This winter season Kansas City has experienced unusually warmer and drier weather conditions. With favorable winter weather we here at Air Jump Moonwalks have experienced heavier demand for outdoor inflatable rentals. Inquiring customers have asked about set up requirements for a winter outdoor rental. We require sustained temperatures of 32 degrees or above with a slim to none chance of precipitation. Your set up area should be completely dry. Also, we request to retrieve any outdoor winter rental before dark. As winter weather is flexible so is Air Jump Moonwalks. Our weather policies apply to the weather forecast so if Mother Nature says it's still fall in the winter, so do we. If you're planning an indoor rather than an outdoor winter event then weather is unlikely to be a worry. We can set up in any indoor facility which provides at least 15' to 20' of ceiling space.

INEXPENSIVE PARTY FAVOR IDEAS (DEC 2011)

While you probably wouldn't want to buy your own commercial grade moonwalk inflatable as they are rather expensive, a few of the following ideas can add extra fun rather inexpensively.

Plus, buying your own food cart machine is much more sanitary than reusing one handled by countless people rented at prior events.

(we don't rent any of the food cart items - they are simply fun suggestions purchasable at a stare like Target, Walmart, or Best Buy)

POPCORN MACHINE

The Nostalgia Retro Air Popper doesn't need oil and can make plenty of popcorn for your home party of a dozen or less kids. Target's online price is about $40.

CHOCOLATE FONDUE FOUNTAIN

The Nostalgia Chocolate Fondue Fountain holds up to 2 pounds of chocolate. Dip strawberries, marshmallows, or any other tasty treat for chocolate flavored deliciousness. Walmart's online price is about $30.

SNOW CONE MACHINE

The Nostalgia Snow Cone Machine shaves ice and can make limitless snow cones for your special event. Snow cone syrup is sold in some stores but alternate topping ideas include juice, soda pop, and unfrozen Freezer Pop syrup. Best Buy's online price is about $50.
